The die-cutting conditions of corrugated cardboard are fundamentally different from those of ordinary cardboards and colored boxes, and have completely different strict requirements for die plate spring pads. Ordinary universal spring pads have long been unable to adapt to the complex die-cutting conditions of corrugated die-cutting, becoming the core bottleneck restricting the production efficiency and product quality of corrugated packaging enterprises. If the spring pad is too hard, it will cause the corrugated structure to collapse and the surface paper to burst, especially for pre-printed colored boxes, which will directly damage the printed patterns and cause the entire batch of products to be scrapped; if the hardness is too low, it will result in the cardboard not being cut through and the waste edges not being separated, requiring manual secondary processing, which significantly increases labor costs; at the same time, ordinary spring pads have insufficient impact resistance, wear resistance, and fatigue resistance, and under the continuous strong impact of corrugated cardboard, they will collapse and wear out after just a few hundred thousand die-cuts, requiring frequent machine stops for replacement, seriously affecting the efficiency of high-speed mass production; moreover, the thickness and hardness uniformity of ordinary spring pads is insufficient, resulting in inconsistent die-cutting depths on the same piece of cardboard, with some areas not being cut through and some areas collapsing, leading to a high rate of defective products.

In the core formula system, Shenhua Printing's corrugated-specific spring pads are specially designed for the strong impact die-cutting conditions of corrugated die-cutting, and have created a modified polyurethane system with high impact resistance, high wear resistance, and anti-fatigue properties. Through optimizing the pre-polymer synthesis process and precisely controlling the crosslink density and hardness gradient of the material, a perfect balance of buffering performance and rebound performance is achieved, which can both avoid corrugated structure collapse and surface paper burst through moderate buffering, and provide strong rebound support to ensure that the blade completely cuts through the corrugated cardboard, achieving a "cutting through clearly, without collapse" perfect die-cutting effect.
