Shenhua Printing Plate Knife Pad: Special Anti-Scratch and Retain-Net Pattern Solution for Precision Meshed Film Die Cutting
Precision mesh films (such as mesh PET films and mesh PP films) are widely used in high-end packaging, electronic labels, and cosmetic packaging. Their surfaces are covered with fine mesh patterns. The core problem is that during die-cutting, the mesh patterns are prone to being scratched, resulting in blurred patterns and rough edges. The conventional elastic pads have rough surfaces and insufficient anti-sticking properties, which can easily damage the mesh structure and make it difficult to maintain the integrity and aesthetics of the mesh patterns. Deephua Printing Materials focuses on the die-cutting pain points of precision mesh films and creates dedicated knife plate elastic pads. Through anti-scuffing and mesh preservation designs, high-precision die-cutting is achieved, preserving the original texture of the mesh patterns.
In terms of material optimization, ultra-soft, low-friction transparent elastic materials are used, with nano anti-scuffing components added. The surface is smooth without burrs, and the friction coefficient is reduced to below 0.06. During die-cutting, the surface of the mesh film is not scratched, ensuring clear and intact mesh patterns; the flexibility of the material is optimized, with the basic hardness controlled at Shore A 40-45, to provide soft buffering pressure and avoid excessive pressure causing mesh patterns to collapse or blur. At the same time, the rebound rate is above 97%, and the compression permanent deformation rate is ≤ 3%, ensuring thorough die-cutting without any connection points or burrs. In terms of process and compatibility, ultra-thin high-precision elastic pads of 0.4-0.9mm are launched, with thickness errors controlled within ±0.01mm, to meet the ultra-thin die-cutting requirements of precision mesh films. The edge of the elastic pad has no burrs or sharp edges, and is precisely matched with the knife plate, eliminating missed cuts and multiple cuts that cause edge burrs. The surface of the elastic pad uses a special anti-sticking coating to reduce the adhesion between the mesh film and the elastic pad, while avoiding the coating blocking the mesh patterns and affecting aesthetics. It improves the waste removal efficiency. After a certain high-end cosmetic packaging enterprise applied this solution, the scratch rate of the mesh film during die-cutting dropped from 8% to 0.1%, the clarity rate of the mesh patterns reached 100%, and the edge burr rate dropped to 0.2%. It perfectly retained the high-end texture of the mesh film, becoming its core material supplier.
