Shenhua Printing Material Knife Plate Elastic Pad: Special Anti-Contracting and Anti-Adhesion Solution for Heat-Shrinking Film Die Cutting

Heat shrinkable films (such as PVC, POF heat shrinkable films) are widely used in the packaging of food, beverages, and daily chemical products. The core problem is that during die-cutting, due to friction, the film material may prematurely contract and the edges may curl. At the same time, the smooth surface of the film material is prone to adhering to the spring pads, resulting in poor waste removal and deviation in die-cutting accuracy. The conventional spring pads have poor anti-adhesion performance and insufficient heat dissipation capacity, making it difficult to meet the die-cutting requirements of heat shrinkable films. Deephua Printing Materials focuses on the die-cutting pain points of heat shrinkable films and has developed special spring pad for heat shrinkable films. Through anti-contraction, anti-adhesion, and heat dissipation optimization, high-precision die-cutting is achieved.

In terms of material optimization, low-temperature, friction-resistant, anti-adhesion materials are used, and efficient heat dissipation components are added. The temperature generated by friction during die-cutting is controlled within 35℃, which is much lower than the contraction temperature of heat shrinkable films (above 65℃). This eliminates the premature contraction and curling of the film material from the root. The surface adopts a special nano anti-adhesion coating, with a friction coefficient reduced to below 0.06, completely solving the problem of the film material adhering to the spring pad, and improving the waste removal efficiency. The optimized material has a rebound rate of over 96%, with a compression permanent deformation rate of ≤3%, providing a gentle and uniform buffering pressure to avoid excessive pressure causing the film material to stretch or break.

In terms of structural and process compatibility, due to the thin and easily deformed characteristics of heat shrinkable films, ultra-thin models of spring pads ranging from 0.5 to 1.2mm are launched. The thickness error is controlled within ±0.02mm, ensuring uniform pressure transmission and avoiding film material stretching and deformation. A seven-axis precision cutting process is adopted, with no burrs or curled edges on the edge of the spring pad, precise alignment with the die-cutting plate, and elimination of missed cuts or multiple cuts leading to edge burrs. For different types of heat shrinkable films (PVC hard film, POF soft film), differentiated hardness compatibility is provided. PVC film is compatible with medium hardness spring pads, and POF film is compatible with low hardness and high rebound spring pads. No repeated debugging is required. After a food heat shrinkable film packaging enterprise applied this solution, the contraction failure rate of heat shrinkable film die-cutting decreased from 10% to 0.3%, the problem of adhesion and waste removal was completely solved, and production efficiency increased by 30%.
