Outdoor packaging (such as outdoor advertising posters, outdoor equipment packaging, and courier waterproof packaging) is exposed to the outdoor environment for a long time, facing alternating high and low temperatures, ultraviolet radiation, and rain erosion, etc. It has extremely high requirements for the weather resistance and anti-aging performance of die-cutting consumables. Conventional die-cutting spring pads are prone to aging cracks, elastic attenuation, and surface powdering in outdoor environments, resulting in damaged packaging die-cut edges, loose structure, and difficulty in meeting the service life requirements of outdoor packaging. In terms of weather-resistant material research, a weather-resistant composite elastic material is adopted, with efficient anti-ultraviolet agents, anti-aging agents, and waterproof components added. This can effectively resist ultraviolet radiation and rain erosion, delay the aging speed of the material, and after testing, the spring pad shows no cracks, no powdering, no elastic attenuation, and a rebound rate of over 92%, with a compression permanent deformation rate of ≤ 6%. At the same time, the material's resistance to high and low temperatures is optimized, enabling normal operation in alternating high and low temperature environments of -20°C to 60°C, without hardening or cracking, and suitable for complex outdoor conditions.

In terms of structure and adaptation design, a high-density molding process is adopted, and a waterproof and anti-scratch coating is added to the surface of the spring pad, which can effectively prevent rain and dust from penetrating and avoid internal aging of the spring pad. A 2.0-3.5mm thick spring pad is launched to enhance the support strength and wear resistance of the spring pad, suitable for die-cutting requirements of outdoor thick packaging materials (such as waterproof canvas, thick corrugated paper). The edge of the spring pad is treated with a thick sealing process to resist outdoor wind and sand friction and avoid edge damage and detachment. After an outdoor advertising packaging enterprise applied this solution, the edge damage rate of outdoor packaging die-cutting decreased from 10% to 0.6%, the spring pad service life was extended to over 6 months, and the maintenance and consumable costs of outdoor packaging were significantly reduced.
