Shenhua Printing Plate Knife Pad: Special Anti-Wrinkling and Anti-Stripping Solution for Card Paper Lamination and Die Cutting

Card paper lamination (such as copperplate paper lamination, white card paper lamination) is a common process for packaging boxes, gift boxes, and instruction manuals. The core pain point during die-cutting is that the lamination layer is prone to delamination, the membrane surface wrinkles, the edges have burrs, and the die-cutting is not thorough. The conventional spring pad pressure transmission is uneven, and the surface anti-sticking property is insufficient, which will aggravate the wrinkling and delamination of the lamination, resulting in a high defect rate. Deephua Printing Materials has optimized the spring pad parameters and structure to create a dedicated lamination knife pad for lamination, achieving a die-cutting effect of "flattened lamination, no delamination, and neat edges".

In terms of material and hardness design, a gradient hardness composite material is used, with the surface layer being a low hardness anti-sticking layer (Shore A 40-45), which can buffer the die-cutting pressure, prevent the lamination layer from being wrinkled or delaminated, and reduce friction with the lamination surface, preventing the membrane surface from being scratched; the bottom layer is a high rebound support layer (Shore A 55-60), ensuring sufficient die-cutting pressure and achieving simultaneous cutting of the card paper and lamination without any connection points or burrs. The toughness of the material is optimized to avoid edge burrs of the spring pad scraping the lamination surface, ensuring the visual texture of the packaging.

In terms of process adaptation, for different thicknesses of lamination card paper (0.3-1.0mm), 1.0-2.0mm multi-thickness compatible spring pads are launched, with a thickness error controlled within ±0.03mm, ensuring uniform pressure transmission and adapting to the die-cutting requirements of different lamination materials (PP film, PET film); the surface of the spring pad is coated with a special anti-sticking coating to reduce the adhesion between the lamination and the spring pad, improving the waste removal efficiency, and avoiding fog marks and scratches on the lamination surface. After a certain packaging company applied this solution, the delamination rate of lamination card paper die-cutting decreased from 8% to 0.3%, the wrinkling rate decreased to 0.2%, and the overall defect rate decreased by 95%, while production efficiency increased by 25%, perfectly adapting to the production needs of high-end packaging boxes.
