Shenhua Printing Plate and Die Pad for Inkjet Printing: Zero Migration Safety Solution for Packaging in Contact with Maternal and Infant Food

Maternal and infant products, complementary foods, disposable diapers, and children's toys packaging have a much higher safety standard for the materials in contact than ordinary packaging. They must be free of heavy metals, plasticizers, odors, and small molecule migration, and must not cause sensitization or health risks to infants and young children. Ordinary elastic pads use industrial-grade fillers and additives, which pose risks of migration and odor, and cannot meet the compliance requirements for this scenario. Shenhua Printing Materials has launched special elastic pads for maternal and infant food contact, ensuring strict safety and hygiene standards throughout the entire process.

All raw materials are made of food-contact grade rubber and elastomer substrates. No lead, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, etc. are added, and no phthalate-based plasticizers, or prohibited substances such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are present. The formula has passed GB 4806, EU 10/2011, and US FDA certifications, allowing for direct and indirect contact with food and infant products. The production process is completed in a 100,000-level clean workshop, with equipment regularly cleaned and disinfected to prevent dust and oil contamination. The finished product has no irritating odor or fugitive marks.

In terms of performance, it balances safety and die-cutting effect. The rebound rate is ≥ 94%, and the thickness tolerance is ± 0.02mm, meeting the requirements for soft packaging, paper boxes, and vacuum-formed packaging die-cutting. The back adhesive is a low-migration clean pressure-sensitive adhesive, without glue fog or residual adhesive migration, and does not contaminate the products inside the packaging over a long period of use. Each batch comes with a test report and batch code, meeting the needs of customers for traceability and factory inspection. After being used by several maternal and infant product packaging factories, they have successfully passed BRC and IFS food packaging level audits, without complaints related to migration, odor, or sensitization, and have become the designated special elastic pads for the maternal and infant line.
