Shenhua Printing Material Knife Plate Spring Pad: Special High-Stability Anti-Offset Solution for Gold Foil Positioning and Die Cutting
Gold stamping, embossing, UV treatment, followed by precise die-cutting, is a typical process for high-end gift boxes, tobacco and alcohol packaging, and cosmetic boxes. The core requirement is for the die-cutting outline to precisely match the gold stamping pattern, with an error typically controlled within ≤ 0.1mm. Conventional elastic pads are prone to sliding under pressure, uneven rebound, and local depression, resulting in offset of the die-cut position, cut-off of the gold stamping area, and misalignment of the outline. This can only lead to reduced production speed or increased manual alignment. Deephua Printing Materials has launched a dedicated elastic pad for die-cutting, with high dimensional stability and anti-offset performance, to ensure the accuracy of registration.
In the design of the positioning structure, a high-density and anti-deformation substrate is used, with a permanent deformation rate of ≤ 2.5%. Long-term continuous die-cutting does not collapse, shift laterally, or experience thickness attenuation, ensuring that the relative position of the blade and the elastic pad is fixed throughout the process. The back adhesive is selected as a high-anchoring force positioning-specific adhesive, with high initial adhesion and stable holding power. It does not leak adhesive or move under high temperature and high pressure. Combined with the anti-slip micro-roughness on the back of the elastic pad, it further enhances the bonding force with the blade, preventing any displacement after lamination. The hardness fluctuation of the same layout is ≤ 1 Shore A, avoiding local subsidence and registration drift caused by differences in hardness.
In terms of precision and process compatibility, ultra-thin and high-precision specifications of 0.5 - 1.2mm are provided. The whole plate is finely ground and cut, with strict control of flatness and parallelism, ensuring consistent depth of the blade entry and consistent positioning outline. For fine gold stamping lines and delicate borders, local micro-enhancement processing can be done to improve support in the fine knife line area, preventing outline deformation. After a high-end gift box factory used this elastic pad, the non-corrected positioning die-cutting error rate decreased from 6.5% to 0.2%, the die-cutting speed returned to the normal die-cutting level, and the position deviation in batch production was stabilized within ± 0.05mm, significantly improving the product's one-time qualification rate.
