Shenhua Printing Material Knife Plate Spring Pad: A Special Adaptation Solution for High-Altitude and Low-Temperature Die-cutting Scenarios

The die-cutting workshop in high-altitude areas (above 3,000 meters) faces special working conditions such as low temperature, low air pressure, and large temperature differences between day and night. Conventional die-cutting plate spring pads are prone to problems like gel hardening, elastic attenuation, back adhesive detachment, and fluctuation in die-cutting accuracy due to low air pressure. The uneven pressure transmission caused by low air pressure can also lead to incomplete die-cutting and material damage. These problems are difficult to meet the production requirements of high-altitude areas. Deephua Printing Materials has optimized the material and structure to create high-altitude-specific die-cutting plate spring pads, achieving long-term stable die-cutting in high-altitude environments.

In terms of material development, a composite material resistant to low temperature and low air pressure is adopted, along with high-altitude-specific toughening agents, to restructure the material molecular chain. This enables the spring pad to work normally in a temperature range of -20°C to 5°C without hardening or cracking, with a rebound rate of over 90% and a compression permanent deformation rate of ≤6%. Anti-low air pressure components are added to enhance the pressure transmission stability of the spring pad. In low air pressure environments, it can still achieve uniform pressure transmission, avoiding incomplete die-cutting due to pressure differences. At the same time, the aging resistance of the spring pad is optimized to resist the strong ultraviolet rays in high-altitude areas, delaying the aging speed of the material and extending its service life.

In terms of structure and back adhesive optimization, a global uniform density molding process is adopted to ensure uniform pressure transmission throughout the spring pad, with a thickness error controlled within ±0.03mm, meeting the die-cutting requirements in low air pressure environments. Customized high-altitude-specific back adhesives are used, with a low-temperature high-viscosity formula that can still firmly adhere to the die-cutting plate in -15°C environments. They also have anti-low air pressure performance to avoid back adhesive bubbling and detachment. The edge of the spring pad is treated with thickening sealing treatment to resist edge cracking and detachment caused by large temperature differences. For the die-cutting equipment characteristics of high-altitude areas, differentiated pressure adjustment suggestions are provided to assist customers in optimizing die-cutting parameters, ensuring stable die-cutting accuracy. After applying this solution to a packaging enterprise in a high-altitude area, the defective rate of die-cutting decreased from 13% to 0.8%, and the replacement cycle of the spring pad was extended to 25 days, completely solving the die-cutting problems in high-altitude low-temperature conditions.
