Large-sized die-cutting (such as for large posters, large gift boxes, and industrial packaging) involves die-cutting with a sheet size typically exceeding 1.2m×2.4m. The core problem is uneven die-cutting pressure, resulting in incomplete cutting at the edges, collapse in the middle area, and significant die-cutting accuracy deviations. The conventional spring pads, due to insufficient structural design, cannot achieve uniform pressure transmission throughout the area, becoming the core bottleneck for large-sized die-cutting. In terms of structural design, an all-area uniform pressure buffering structure is innovatively adopted. The internal of the pad is equipped with evenly distributed elastic support columns, and the density of the support columns is precisely adjusted according to the sheet size to ensure that every part of the large-sized sheet can receive uniform buffering and pressure transmission, eliminating the problems of insufficient pressure at the edges and excessive pressure in the middle. At the same time, the overall flatness of the pad is optimized, and large-scale precision cutting equipment is used to control the flatness error of the pad surface to ±0.03mm, ensuring a complete fit with the large-sized die-cutting plates without any gaps or protrusions, further ensuring uniform pressure.

In terms of material selection, a high elasticity and high toughness composite material is used, with balanced rebound additives added, ensuring consistent rebound performance throughout the pad, a compression permanent deformation rate of ≤4%, and a rebound rate of over 95%. This enables the pad to meet the high-frequency pressurization requirements of large-sized die-cutting and avoids uneven pressure caused by local elastic attenuation of the pad. For the installation requirements of large-sized die-cutting, the pad adopts a modular and splicing design, which can be flexibly spliced according to the sheet size, with tight bonding at the splicing points, no pressure loss, and is convenient for transportation and installation.

After a large industrial packaging enterprise applied this solution, the die-cutting accuracy error of large-sized sheets decreased from ±0.1mm to ±0.05mm. The problems of incomplete cutting at the edges and collapse in the middle area were completely resolved. The defect rate decreased from 8% to 0.4%, and the efficiency of large-sized die-cutting increased by 30%, perfectly meeting the production requirements of large-sized packaging.
