The application of creasing lines in the e-commerce packaging field: Precise creasing empowers efficient logistics and brand image
In recent years, the vigorous development of the e-commerce industry has driven an explosive growth in the demand for e-commerce packaging. According to statistics, the domestic e-commerce packaging usage will exceed 100 billion in 2024, among which folding cartons and express delivery boxes account for more than 80%. The pain points of indentation in e-commerce packaging mainly focus on three aspects: first, the stability of indentation under high-speed production; second, the stiffness and anti-deformation ability after folding; third, the accuracy of indentation for thin materials. In response to these pain points, our e-commerce-specific creasing lines have been specifically optimized. In terms of material, it adopts "high-strength alloy + nano-ceramic coating". The alloy base material undergoes deep cryogenic treatment, increasing its hardness to HRC62 degrees, which is three times more wear-resistant than ordinary indentation lines and can adapt to high-speed indentation operations of over 200 times per minute. The surface smoothness of the nano-ceramic coating is extremely high, with a friction coefficient of only 0.03, which can effectively prevent the occurrence of paper fibers and scratches on thin express bags and light corrugated paper.
In terms of indentation accuracy, our e-commerce dedicated indentation line has achieved "triple precise control" : Firstly, the cross-sectional dimensions are precise, with the height tolerance of the indentation line controlled within ±0.005mm, ensuring that the depth of each indentation is exactly the same and avoiding problems such as partial difficulty in folding and partial over-folding. Second, it features precise positioning. The two ends of the indentation line are designed with "conical positioning pins", and the fit clearance with the indentation die is less than 0.01mm. After installation, there will be no deviation, ensuring that the indentation position is precisely aligned with the cutting edge and printed pattern of the packaging box. Thirdly, the crease Angle is precise. By adjusting the radius of the cross-sectional arc of the crease line (0.2-0.8mm is optional), e-commerce packaging of different thicknesses can all be folded into a standard 90-degree right Angle, enhancing the stiffness of the packaging and preventing deformation caused by soft creases during transportation.
In response to the diverse demands of e-commerce packaging, we have developed a series of creasing lines that are "suitable for all scenarios". For thin and light clothing express delivery bags, a 0.5mm narrow creasing line is introduced. The creasing is clear and does not affect the flexibility of the bag. For home appliance cartons with strong load-bearing capacity, a 3mm wide heavy-duty creasing line is introduced to enhance the tear resistance of the creases. Even when filled with heavy objects, there will be no crease cracking. For brand express boxes that require printed patterns, a "Scratch-resistant creasing line" is launched. Through a special coating, it prevents the printed patterns from being scratched during the creasing process, enhancing the brand image. In addition, we also provide low-temperature dedicated creasing lines for the cold chain packaging of fresh food e-commerce. These lines can maintain stable performance even in a low-temperature environment of -10℃, solving the problem of easy cracking of creases in cold chain packaging.
